The train line is called the “ARMADALE LINE”.
You get ON the train at Perth Station (Wellington Street) Platform 5.
You get OFF at KELMSCOTT STATION Platform 2
You EXIT Kelmscott. Railway Station by crossing PLATFORM 1
IF YOU DO NOT CROSS PLATFORM ONE -we will NOT see you and YOU will NOT see us.
It takes EXACTLY 35 minutes for the train to go from Perth to Kelmscott.
Trains are VERY regular & intervals vary (more during AM/PM peak hours)
ON TIME performance is world class.

1. Take train to Claisebrook Station (2 minutes)
2. Walk To Claisebrook Stn Platform 2 - About 19 mins (1287 metres)
Catch Train Armadale Line, Claisebrook Stn Platform 2 TO Kelmscott Stn Platform 2 Approx travel time (25 mins)
You get OFF at KELMSCOTT STATION Platform 2
You EXIT Kelmscott. Railway Station by crossing PLATFORM 1
IF you do NOT cross platform one, - we will NOT see you and YOU will NOT see us.

PART TWO
GETTING TO OUR HOME FROM
PERTH AIRPORT By yourself.
Coming here by
yourself is cheap and easy, we use public transport when
going too and from the airport ourselves.
MOST people
reach us within 1 hr 15 min or so, from getting on the bus
at the airport.

The reason we have two sets of instructions are.
Families with small children - we pick up.
Perth Airport operates 24/7, public transport does not, hence we pick up "after hours".
WE ARE UNABLE TO PICK UP FREE. We charge a flat rate of $20 PER CAR - NOT PER PERSON.
COMING TO US FROM THE INTERNATIONAL/DOMESTIC AIRPORT T1, T2, T3 & T4. By yourself.
It is actually quicker to make your way here by yourself.
When paying CHOOSE ZONE THREE - $5.60. This will make sense to you when you board the bus
Use this site http://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/journey-planner to plan the journey from both DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL
Your destination is KELMSCOTT RAILWAY STATION.
We will pick you up at Kelmscott Station. (See above instructions for your train journey to us, especially when you EXIT Kelmscott)
It Takes around an HOUR or so, after boarding the bus at the airport - to me picking you up at Kelmscott.
ASK the bus driver to drop you off at "Burswood Station" (This is what we do) - it is a SHORT WALK TO THE TRAIN
TWO Trains leave from Burswood station, it is "pot luck" which one will leave after you get there.
You want the Armadale one, HOWEVER, you can catch the THORNLIE Train and change at either OATS St or CANNINGTON. To the Armadale line.
Listen whilst you are on the train, there are announcements EVERY step of the journey to Kelmscott.

We did this ourselves, from T1 terminal on Sunday the 12th May 2019. After returning from Thailand - EACH of us with over 20kg of Luggage.

approx two hours or more to pick you up.

(THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE FOR THE TIMES WHEN WE DO PICK YOU UP)
PICK-UP INTERNATIONAL/Domestic AIRPORT. (Experience
tells us it is NEVER easy at the airport)
ESSENTIAL: WE NEED YOUR FLIGHT NUMBER So that we can check the arrival ONLINE.
This is VERY important as flights are often delayed and some are early.
Without your flight number, we CANNOT go to the airport - all we can do is wait until you call us.
Lee will go to the exit area of the international/Domestic Airport – meet and greet – then escort you to our car.
Lee will be INSIDE the airport, NOT outside. She will be holding a sign with your name on it.
She will be looking for you - please help by looking out for her.

INTERNATIONAL: We
will arrive there NO EARLIER than 40 minutes after
your plane lands. This will give you plenty of time to collect
bags and navigate immigration and customs.
We CANNOT park there, or even wait a few minutes, but, we CAN
pick up there.
The 40 minutes “after the plane lands”, will mean
that some people will be waiting a short time. Other
people will, for whatever reason have a delayed exit.
Mal will be circling the airport – average about 5-6 times….
DOMESTIC: We
will arrive there NO EARLIER than 15 minutes after
your plane lands. We cannot park there, but, we CAN pick up
there.
The 15 minutes “after the plane lands”, will mean
that some people will be waiting a short time. Other
people will, for whatever reason have a delayed exit.
PLEASE NOTE SOME DOMESTIC FLIGHTS ARRIVE AT TERMINAL TWO - Please check carefully.
Of course we cannot wait here for ever, if after 90 minutes of your plane landing, we have NOT heard from you – we will go home and await contact from you.
It
will be good if we can exchange pictures and get your
telephone number (if you have one). Our pictures are on THE PAGE YOU ARE READING NOW as is a picture
of our car.
An SMS is inexpensive, even on most roaming plans. PLEASE
try and contact us if you are delayed.
